Şışlı, a district in Turkey known for its snowy and hard winters..

My connection with Şışlı, is just a business trip or rather you can call it as a customer visit.

On one hand, I was totally excited as this was my first travel all alone and to a new beautiful country and on the other I was totally worried about the food , since Turkey or rather Şışlı is a place exclusively known for non vegetarian dishes. You can rarely or never find any Veg dishes here and Me being a vegan (was very upset ) as to what food to eat :(

Somehow, I was just managing with the food available and just surviving.

Talking about the food starting from breakfast , Hotel people had served a continental breakfast and it was tooooo heavy for my stomach to digest (as it can be seen from the pic)

Then for the remaining course i.e. lunch and dinner, was fine.

As mentioned earlier, Turkey is known for non vegetarian dishes, you can hardly find any veg dishes here. SO everyday my colleague and me will go to one cafe nearby office (which is his favourite restaurant)

Dinner is another problem for me, as we rarely or don't get any vegetarian dishes at this time. The hotel in which I was staying used to serve dinner . Almost all the dishes are non vegetarian. Luckily, there was 2 veg dishes one is called PIZZA and other one PASTA both belonging to the Italian Cuisine. So, Of these 2 options , I took the so called PIZZA.. Here goes the Turkish cum Italian Pizza..
