Saffola Masala Oats Tikki

Fit Foodie by Vikas Khanna is a very well known show on Food Food network.

Even though the show is aired for 10 minutes only, I must say that this is a must watch show.The following recipe is just a part of the full recipe cooked by Vikas in his last show. He had shown the Saffola Masala Oats Burger.

I have also modified one ingredient to suit my vegetarian family , i.e I have used here grated Paneer instaed of Minced chicken.So to all Non-Vegans & Vegans out there, here goes a recipe that is quite nutritive and also well suited for a surprise party @home :)

Ingredients

Saffola Masala oats - 1 small packet

Egg -1

Bell Pepper - 1 cup

Onions - 1

Green chillies -1 cut in julienne strips

Grated Paneer - 1 cup (or 200 gms packet)

Crushed Garlic- 1 tbsp

Crushed Pepper- 1 tsp

Oregano - 1 tsp

Methos:

Saute bell pepper,onions,garlic and chillies for 2-3 minutes on medium flame

Take a large mixing bowl and transfer this sauted vegetables into it

Add Grated Paneer,cushed Pepper,Oregano and salt to it.

Lastly add Saffola Masala Oats into this mixture

Shape into balls, flatten lightly with your hands

Fry the balls using very less oil

Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup
