Yet another dish made of Paneer.

I very well know that helathy tag doesn't suit .But still...and for those who are diet conscious can substitute paneer with tofu.

Ingredients: 400gm of paneer cut into 1"cubes 1 big onion , sliced thin 1 tsp of crushed ginger

1 tsp of crushed garlic 3 green chillies, slit lengthwise 1 tbsp of whole black pepper, crushed 1/2 tsp of garam masala 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup or sauce Salt to taste Coriander leaves for garnish, chopped

Method:

1.Soak frozen paneer cubes in lukewarm water for 15 minutes. Cut into smaller cubes / halves. 2. In a pan, heat the oil and add sliced onions. Fry till golden brown. Add green chilli and crushed garlic and ginger and sauté till the raw flavour disappears. 3. Add turmeric powder, garam masala, and pepper. Saute for 1-2 mins. 4. Add tomato ketchup. Mix well. 5. Add paneer cubes and mix well till the masala coats the paneer. 6. You should cook till the masala turns darker ( a deep dark brown/black) and dry with the masala coating the paneer pieces as in the picture above. 7. Add some finely chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Serve hot with rice or rotis.
