Betty Crocker's Choco fudge cake

Betty Crocker is a brand name and trademark of General Mills, an American Fortune 500 corporation.There are a number of Betty Crocker-branded products, such as baking and dessert mixes, plastic food containers and measuring cups, and a line of small appliances like popcorn poppers and sandwich makers with the Betty Crocker brand name.

For this recipe I have used the Choco-Fudge-Cake-Mix from betty crocker.( link for the product is provided below)

Ingredients:

1. Betty Crocker' s choco fudge cake mix - 2 cups

2. Eggs - 2

3. Sugar - 1 tbsp

4.Butter - 2 tbsp

5.Vanila Essence - 2 tsp

For the egg frosting:

In large bowl of stand mixer combine the egg whites and vanilla and beat until frothy. Add sugar gradually and mix on low speed until sugar is incorporated and mixture is shiny. Turn speed up to high and beat until mixture forms stiff, glossy peaks. This should take approximately 5 to 7 minutes.

For immediate use, transfer icing to pastry bag or heavy duty storage bag and pipe as desired. If using storage bag, clip corner. Store in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 3 days.Read more at:

Method:

  1. In a bowl, cream but ter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine Betty Crocker's choco fudge cake mix, beating until smooth after each addition. Pour batter into a greased and floured pan.

  2. Cook in the microwave on high for 3 to 4minutes, or until cake springs back when touched. Since all microwaves cook differently, adjust the cooking time to accommodate your machine. To serve, let the cake cool five minutes, then cover the bowl with a plate and turn both bowl and plate upside down so the cake falls onto the plate.

  3. Decorate the cake with egg frosting
